In 2005, Elsie Sze registered her own publishing company, BTS Publishing House, with her husband Michael as her sales and publicity manager. She believed in self-publishing as a respectable and the surest and fastest way to go, to get one's works read, to share one's stories. In September, 2005, BTS Publishing House proudly launched Hui Gui: a Chinese story.
